Marcopper mining disaster revisited... in Australia

A week ago and twenty years after the 1996 tragedy that had their rivers declared dead, the people of Marinduque, Philippines remembered the Marcopper Mining disaster with the unveiling of a marker. 

Tomorrow (1 April 2016), this environmental catastrophe is revisited during a PSG Seminar featuring Emerson Sanchez, a PhD candidate at the University of Canberra's Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance.  His talk: "After Marcopper: Deliberative prospects of resource governance in a post-mining disaster Philippines"

In 1996, toxic discharge of the Marcopper Mines on Marinduque Island resulted in the severe contamination of water systems. This was the worst mining-related environmental disaster in the Philippines, and one of the worst in the world. It was a poignant moment that brought about the promise of profound changes in mineral resource governance. 

Various political actors responded differently to the disaster. On the one hand, groups with anti-mining sentiments had a stronger case to support their cause. Some local governments issued a moratorium on mining activities in their areas. 

On the other hand, government regulators revised regulations, hoping that stricter rules could improve mineral resource governance. The mining industry highlighted good practices and carried out a “responsible mining” discourse.

The actions of different political actors suggest that the mining disaster was an unequivocal message to reflect on the way that mineral resources are being governed. With this background, I am interested to see if, years later, mineral resource governance has been moving towards a deliberative direction. 

As a starting point, I will use core deliberative ideals as broad themes for examining the “responsible mining” project of Oceana Gold Corporation (OGC) in Didipio, Nueva Vizcaya.  OCG started its exploration in 1994 and secured permits for full operation in 2013. It is a multi-awarded company hailed for its business, technical, sustainability, and ethical practices. Some of these awards were given for its practices in Didipio. However, there has been long-standing opposition from residents and civil society groups to OCG's Didipio mine. This study will focus on the deliberative prospects of OCG's environmental impact assessment and environmental monitoring practices, sustainability/rehabilitation program, and corporate social responsibility program.

Increase in earthquakes, volcanic eruptons and soon, increase in thunderbolts not seen before. Nothing to do with human-induced global warming/climate change.

Popocatépetl volcano came to life on Sunday morning, sending a column of gas and ash 2,000 metres (6,500ft) into the sky in central Mexico. A 12km (7.5-mile) security ring around the volcano has been mandated, preventing passage close to the crater. Popocatépetl’s last major eruption was in 2000, when more than 40,000 people had to be evacuated. - The Guardian

A snow- and ice-covered volcano located in Alaska's Aleutian Islands erupted Sunday (March 27), spewing a cloud of ash about 20,000 feet (6,000 meters) into the sky, the Alaska Volcano Observatory reported.

The volcano — called Pavlof for the Russian name "Paul" or "St. Paul" — erupted at about 4 p.m. local time (8 p.m. EDT) Sunday. The area also had elevated seismic activity at 3:53 p.m. local time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). In response, the Alaska Volcano Observatory raised the volcano alert level to "warning," and the aviation color code to "red," meaning that an eruption is imminent or underway and putting high levels of ash into the atmosphere. Perhaps as a result, there were no reported injuries during or following the eruption. - LiveScience

KANLAON VOLCANO ADVISORY 29 March 2016 7:00 PM

At around 6:20 PM, an ash eruption occurred from the active crater of Kanlaon Volcano that lasted around 12 minutes based on seismic records. The event was accompanied by a booming sound heard in Sitio Guintubdan, Brgy. Ara-al and Brgy. Yubo, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental and Brgy. Pula Canlaon City, Negros Oriental. From the southeastern side of the volcano, the eruption plume was observed to have reached 1500m above the active crater. Traces of light ashfall were reported in Sitio Guintubdan, Brgy. Tragedy of a legal case; Marker unveiled on Marcopper disaster's 20th anniversary

Isn't it a tragedy that after 20 long years, the provincial government of Marinduque has still not been able to take its case forward against Barrick Gold? 

And in spite of the fact that the vigilant Marinduque Council for Environmental Concerns (MACEC), municipal governments, stakeholders and local church prelates have urged the provincial government that the case should now proceed in Canada, the concerned public officials appear to be purposely bidding for time for the nth time again. For what?

Based on information, no less than the Bishop of Boac, Bishop Marcelino Antonio Maralit, Jr. had the opportunity to personally convey the loud message before the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. 

The good Bishop apparently had to politely resort to take up the cudgels himself for our people after it became apparent that the legal counsel who unscrupulously pushed the unacceptable settlement, resoundingly rejected by the people of Marinduque and the SP itself, was suddenly raising the settlement again during a recent public meeting - and getting support from top officials?

It appears that the provincial government without providing any explanation to the stakeholders, are still bent, for reasons only known to them, to authorize the said lawyer and the US firm that stood as counsel in Nevada to refile the case - as if they could litigate in Canada. 

This, in spite of the fact that the provincial government had officially invited representatives of a Canadian firm in January for talks in the island-province together with the said US firm and with local officials.

Why should the Province pay for both US and Canadian lawyers if the case is going to go ahead in Canada? Does the SP have access at all to any draft contract with these lawyers that would enable the so august body to evaluate the possible conditions, costs, etc. - especially after the very controversial terms and costs entered into with lawyers involved in the earlier case? And so much for the 'dream team' hype and name-dropping.

Further, does the SP have access to the financing agreement, if any, to be able to see if there are any unacceptable conditions in it? 

Are they serious about the case at all? Or are they just thinking of some other way to get hold of the money already offered amid nasty but serious accusations on public domain that somebody, somebody here is actually lawyering for the mining company?

The Marinduque people hopefully, after 20 years of crying out for Environmental Justice still cling to dear Hope and Justice!

Twenty years after the tragedy that had their rivers declared dead, the people of Marinduque remember the Marcopper mining disaster with a marker.

Members of the Marinduque Council for Environmental Concerns, a Church-based organization, and officials from the municipality of Boac witness the unveiling of the memorial marker in Barangay Hinapulan on Thursday, two decades after the Marcopper mine tailings disaster of 1996.

On March 24, 1996, a tailings spill at the Marcopper Mining Corp's copper mine in central Marinduque province caused for least 1.5 million cubic metres of mine tailings to flow into surrounding rivers after flash floods, contaminating the river system and causing illnesses in the communities around the mine.

Affected communities are still dealing with several river systems in the province left heavily silted and poisoned when the Marcopper mine tailings dam leaked mercury-contaminated discharge, impacting the province’s water and food supply. -- Trishia Billones, ABS-CBN News

Update from Broussard: No valid sightings of Planet-7X

Scientific equation shows an infamous real object on an elliptical orbit, but...

On December 30, 1983 NASA's Chief Scientist of the Infra-Red Astronomical Satellite telescope (IRAS) announced that NASA had discovered Planet X. The findings were reported in other newspapers like Astronomy (Dec. 1981): "Search for the Tenth Planet"; New York Times, (June 19, 1982, January 30, 2983) Newsweek (June 28, 1982), US News World Report (Sept. 10, 1984). Then there was a retraction from NASA.

Then in 1999 Chilean astronomer, Carlos Munoz Ferrada gave an interview on television in Puerto Rico specifying the mass, velocity, orbital time, the trajectory and the terrible consequences being produced by the "comet-planet" that he named Hercolobus. He said then that the great geophysical change that will occur on earth was already advancing.

In recent times, more reports came in: CNN: "New Planet may have been discovered, researchers say"; Science Magazine: "Astronomers say a Neptune sized planet lurks beyond Pluto"; Caltech.edu: "Caltech researchers find evidence of a real ninth planet"; National Geographic: Scientists find evidence for ninth planet in solar system"; Space.com: 'Planet Nine' May Exist: New Evidence for Another World in Our Solar System.

Comes Gill Broussard, amateur astronomer, researcher, philosopher, lecturer and key figure in regards to Planet X. Broussard has repeatedly been quoted that the date of March 26, 2016 , using biblical data points deeply concerns him. 

He stressed, however, that that specific biblical signs (Third, Fourth and Fifth Seal in Revelations), must first come to pass before Planet X becomes visible. 

"It's my opinion, that any date past 2017 would well exceed the Biblical time account!", says Broussard.  

Today, Broussard has just posted the following message:

Hi, 

There are no valid sightings of Planet-7X (P-7X) in the public realm at this time. There are only lens flares, sun dogs (mirages), etc. When P-7X shows up it will be seen in the night time sky and it will appear like a star at first and get larger, similar to the size we see Jupiter at night, and as bright as Venus. There are two to three million amateur astronomers that will show us detailed photos of P-7X when it does show up. Hopefully internet is available for rapid notification. More at the end.

I share in peoples frustrations on the lack of a valid sighting. The Asian astronomers stated seeing it 13 months ahead of its arrival. A March, 2016 arrival should have realized a visual sighting as early as February of 2015; earlier with telescopes. Obviously we are well overdue. Personally I am giving P-7X more time to show up, secondary to a comment made by a retired, senior NASA engineer. I asked him if the government has the means to block or interfere with our view of P-7X. He gave a quick answer saying “Yes."

Since P-7X did not show up by now, I must conclude that it will not arrive in April or March, 2016 either, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief that we have more time. Keep in mind, though, that we will see Seal #3,#4 & #5 happen before Seal #6 (P-7X 1st meteor storm) or Seal #7 (P-7X 2nd meteor storm).

Seal #3: Global economic collapse (This appears to be very close to happening).

Seal #4: War, famine and pestilences (This also appears to be very close to happening).

This will cause a food, water, fuel & money shortage; government rationing could be implemented. “A great falling away” of many believers could occur as they were told by religious authorities “nothing bad would happen," and were misdirected, and not instructed on the specifics of customs, and literal meanings in the Old Testament, where a person is to have supplies for the Sabbath and Jubilee years.

Signs in the heavens will appear (Planet-7X, etc).
Seal #5: Peace agreement (First clear indicator of the anti-messiah).

Then shortly after, following Yeshua's "days of Noah" prophecy, the world governments would issue a 40 day warning of P-7X’s approach to the world.

The Two-Witnesses will appear in Jerusalem, just before the festival of Feast of Passover (on a full Moon).

Seal #6: The day of the 1st meteor storm, March/April (Daytime side of Earth).

This is also the start of the “Great Tribulation” (on the daytime side of Earth).

This is also the night (on the opposite side of Earth) that Yeshua returns for the bride and for the “wise” bridesmaids, at mid-of-night in Jerusalem, (This is the 1st. “taking away”). He brings this “remnant” (not all) to a place in the wilderness (not heaven) where they stay in safety for 1,260 days (3 1/2 years). The Almighty YHVH took a remnant of eight, & set them adrift. He brought out a remnant of three million from Egypt, and brought them to wilderness. Since He "changes not," He will protect a remnant very soon.

Seal #7: The 2nd meteor storm. (Nighttime side of Earth - There is 150-152 days separation between Seal #6 & #7 - Wormwood impact, a large asteroid - The 5th trumpets sounds).

At the end of the 3 1/2 years (1,260 days) of the Great Tribulation, the 2nd “taking away” (Rapture) occurs, as most understand from Paul's writings on the subject. All believers, dead & alive, are brought to heaven (The New Jerusalem). This is known in Hebrew as “The day no man knows the day or hour” (Day of Trumpets, near September). The guests then arrive to the wedding, followed by the bridesmaids and then the Bride. The wedding takes place, followed by a year long celebration. Incidentally, a Hebrew groom cannot go to war before one year of marriage is completed. 

Therefore, during this year, the anti-messiah and his army are suffering under the seven bowl judgments, while they see raptured servants standing on a sea of glass (The bottom of the New Jerusalem, hovering over Earth).

YESHUA

After the one year has ended, Yeshua & 144,000 return to Earth, wiping out the anti-messiah and his army. Yeshua returns to the New Jerusalem, stating that the wedding and feast are complete. 

Then the wedding guests are returned to Earth, for the next 1,000 years (It takes them 7 months to burn the implements of war). Only the bride and the bridesmaids live in the New Jerusalem during the 1,000 year reign, they help to govern the nations (The guests of the wedding). After the 1,000 years is over, they all are equal in knowledge, and instruction of life in the TORAH. Then YHVH makes a new Earth and a new atmosphere (1st. heaven), and the New Jerusalem sits on Earth and Elohim lives with us for eternity. I am excited!

Since there are no valid sightings in the public realm at this time, I estimate, after a large Middle-East war (Seal #4), martial law will be implemented before the first sighting of P-7X. Consequently, I suspect a cyber attack will target the internet, & eliminate rapid notification of P-7X approach. Governments would keep it secretive until the announcement of a signing of a peace agreement.

However, when P-7X does approach, in the nighttime sky it will appear as large as Jupiter, yet as bright as Venus. The object should continue to double in size each time its distance is reduced by half.

Yes, it appears that P-7X will not arrive this March/April, 2016. None the less, the search continues, as a possible appearance next March/April, 2017 (Passover) should reveal an object in the nighttime skies very soon.

Planet 7X myth or reality: Where's the Philippines in all this?

"Philippines... not a good place to be", according to Planet 7X amateur astronomer and researcher,Gill Broussard.

He's not the first who said that actually. There have been apocalyptic 'contactees' who've said that before, like Nancy Lieder and another one, Michael Scallion, who even came up with a map that showed parts of the Philippines going under the sea.


Curiously, the latest who warned about such an eventuality is no less than recent Manila visitor Al Gore, former US vice-president, who, however, is blaming it on on 'thermal expansion', warming of the oceans, and not on any near-earth object. He went so far as saying "over 13 million Filipinos may need to be relocated".

Best to listen to this three-hour mind-boggling interview. Broussard who started as a skeptic on Planet X provides a basic presentation of his research where he shows that ancient Chinese, Japanese and Korean records of a singular near-earth object (NEO), coincided with 14 Biblical events or data points. He calls this NEO Planet 7X (for 7 times Earth's diameter).

His findings that have gone viral in the Internet significantly differ from the works of other astronomers and researchers on this subject.

Says Broussard: "My main focus is to inform viewers of new findings in the field of Biblical astronomy and how these resulting anomalies correlate to biblical records. Three years of research along with astronomical software models of each event that have a repeating overlay to a depth and degree to which the data cross-validated itself was beyond expectations!"

And what about Wormwood?

Broussard: "Wormwood is an Asteroid that follows behind. That's part of the debris field... That's going to be the size of a mountain that hits us at the second event..  The planet is nowhere around, it's going back into deep space. We're just travelling five months later, and we're running into this second debris field...

(At 2:25:16) "This is the pivot point I was telling you about when Earth tilts another 26-28 degrees. Somewhere around the Middle East right here is the pivot point for the tilt... If you are 90 degrees from that tilt this is the danger zone, All of South America, East Coast, Australia, Philippines... not a good place to be..."

Why the name change Planet-X to Planet-7X? 

To separate information in a conversation from what data source you are using. There a great deal of information on "Planet-X" that does not fit the data provided by the ancient Chinese writings and Scripture. 

1. No year is conclusive on its arrival, there are only estimates. Except for NASA, and a few large observatories and they are silent on this matter. 

2. We have a range of years as possibilities for it arrival 2013-21, and the year before it arrival they will notice a new object in the sky for all the general public to view. 

3. The years between 2013-2017 is strongly favored from the implied biblical text. The date March 26, 2016 stands in the text as an alignment of the constellation Virgo, Jupiter and P-7X. Only time will tell if this estimate is favored. 

4. There is clear historical data of this N.E.O. (Near Earth Object) Planet-7X. • Planet-7X enters Earth’s orbit path in mid-August to mid-Sept. • Planet-7X exits Earth’s orbital path in mid-March to mid-April. • Planet-7X will have a separation of 150-152 days apart from entry to exit along Earth’s path. • Planet-7X debris field that Earth travels through, is seven times the diameter of Earth.

8. That Planet-X is so dark that only an infrared telescope or satellite can see it. (false, the chinese saw it up to a year ahead, and infrared telescope are used to look for deep space objects, beyond optical telescopes capability.) 

9. Planet-X is coming from the direction of the South pole region of space. (False, the data does not support that region of space!) 

10. Planet-X is coming from the direction of Orion region of space. (False, the data does not support that region of space!)

US and Russia preparing for Planet X / Nibiru arrival and aftermath 

Russia is just finishing 5,000 shelters in Moscow. They’re much more open (in this regard anyway) on this topic than other governments.

I personally estimate the US probably has over 150 Deep Underground Military Bases. A huge military underground city exists underneath the Denver Airport. Russia has some that can accommodate over 100,000 people (at the base of mountains). These are entire underground cities that have been under construction since the 1980s.

The far greater electromagnetic fields of Planet X will cause great earthquakes (greater than the highest level of 9.5 known to date), volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and a shift of the physical poles.

Now it is public knowledge that government agencies are on a need-to-know classification (intra-agency), and that they never publish information in advance that could cause an economic or other disruption. Enough said.

However, if you do any research at all you will run into different levels of disinformation. Some of this is from uneducated members of the public and some of it is very likely on purpose. You have to use your head when you do research.

Until the discovery of Planet X, astronomers had regarded the writings of the ancient Sumerians about this object as legend. When Planet X was discovered in 1983, they suddenly learned that the Sumerians were not the primitive people they have been made out to be by “intellectuals” of today.

Pioneer

When Pioneer 10 was sent out to study Planet X, it encountered a mysterious force – dubbed the Pioneer anomaly by baffled NASA scientists. It was gently pushed against (by the force of the magnetosphere of Planet X) and moved in the opposite direction back toward the sun. Its forward momentum was decelerated.

Pioneer was traveling toward the right of Nibiru at this point. This tells us two things: (1) that Nibiru’s outer magnetic force is so strong it can affect objects 46.8 AU from Nibiru (Pioneer’s approximate distance at the time; (2) that Nibiru’s magnetism rotates in a clockwise fashion because that is the only way it could push Pioneer back when the deep space probe was flying to the right of it. If it rotated anticlockwise and the Pioneer 10 was traveling in the same direction, it would push the probe slightly forward and to the right of its trajectory. The effect would have been the opposite as the probe would have been seen to accelerate, not decelerate, in its drift.

HUBBLE

The real reason for the Hubble Space Telescope was NOT to explore the solar system and the Universe, as some claim from time to time. The real reason for spending billions of dollars to construct the telescope, place it in orbit and then immediately replace parts on it was for the purpose of viewing inbound Planet X. A June 6, 2011 interview with a Hubble Insider now published at YouTube on the video below states this fact as to the Hubble’s purpose. He watched it through the Hubble Telescope and stated that “this thing looked like it was across the street and the Hubble got cut off and they encrypted it and that was the end of any transmissions we had to watch.”

NIBIRU

Nibiru (aka Planet X and referred to by the Vatican as Wormwood) has a mass that is 3-5 times the mass of Jupiter. Its composition is cesium, iron oxide, iron, oxygen and ozone, according to the same video by the Hubble Insider, who also stated it has seven planets (moons) orbiting it and innumerable asteroids. Its existence is known by all of the major governments of the world. They are prepared – are you?

The object is huge and until recently it is a red dwarf star visible only in the infrared spectrum. The alleged agent claims that the government is monitoring the system and that in 2008 it could be seen in high detail with infrared telescopes.

I say observed through the infrared spectrum until recently, so take a look at the video below from North Carolina.
